UK Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a business continuity team and to play a lead role in client featured development work

Reports to:     Head of Professional Services

Role

Office-Shadow seeks an experienced Project Manager to play a lead role in client featured deployment work. The Project Manager will be able to lead a Business Continuity team consisting of, but not limited to staff and specialists from both the client and supplier(s) perspective. They will support Projects from engagement and program planning process to the delivery of commissioning, training, deployment, support services and maintenance. 

The candidate will be able to lead individuals and groups, focused on programme management, software delivery, and integration capturing the business continuity management requirements of clients.

Delivery

The Project Manager will provide a full understanding of the product suite to lead clients to successful projects - meeting client-specific requirements. Shadow-Planner is a sophisticated software suite, and the skills required to fully understand and deliver successful business continuity management projects are challenging. 

Skills

Ideally experienced in Project Management and Business Continuity, we seek a Project Manager with measurable skills (such Prince 2 qualification and Professional Membership of an Industry body such as the BCI). A commercial understanding and a rounded ability to be able to engage at differing levels within an organization to deliver on time and within tolerance and budget are essential. The project manager will have the ability to articulate and demonstrate his / her knowledge, understanding and experience of helping clients with their business continuity programs specifically through software deployment.

The applicant should be able to demonstrate his / her ability to lead a multi-faceted team and on his / her own with the minimum of supervision in delivering a high standard of programme and project services that show attention to schedules, deadlines, budgets and quality of work.

In addition the applicant will have a good understanding of common business practices and processes and must be qualified to work in the UK.  The role requires UK, European and some international travel.
